Following the introduction of the new GDPR we have updated our privacy policy.
HOW WE COLLECT & STORE YOUR INFORMATION.
Any information we hold on our supporters is given to us freely by the individual for the purpose of either adoption enquiries, financial donations or auction payments.
We never collect data from 3rd parties except our authorised agents such as our Home checking Agency
All our data information is either stored on a secure laptop or in a paper format which is not accessible to anyone except BID TO SAVE A STRAY Trustees.
Your data will be disposed of in a secure way should it no longer be required.
HOW WE USE YOUR DATA.
The date you provide us with is used to either facilitate an adoption or for the purpose of recording financial donations for HMRC or for the sending of goods purchased from us.
We never sell or swap your data with any other organisation except the home checking agency we use to facilitate adoptions. Any requests for us to share your data with an other agency should be in writing from yourself.

HOW TO COMPLAIN
You can call us, write to us or email us about your complaint and our team will be pleased
to help.
In order for us to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible, please include the
following information in your letter or e-mail:
•Your contact details: Full name and then the details for your preferred method of contact e.g.
address, email or phone number.
•As much information about the complaint as you feel able to give (the reason for your complaint,
where and when the instance occurred, the name(s) of anyone involved).
•Are there any particular actions you wish us to take to resolve your complaint? If so, please
include them.

We will endeavour to acknowledge complaints within five working days of receipt. We will
respond to complaints within fourteen working days.
Where the matter requires more detailed investigation, we will respond within 28 days.
Your complaint will be managed in accordance with our Complaints procedure.
If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with the resolution of your complaint, then please
reply to us explaining your concerns with our response and what you would like us to do.
TAKING YOUR COMPLAINT FURTHER
If your complaint is about our fundraising activities and you are unsatisfied with our
response, you are entitled to take it to the Fundraising Regulator. The Fundraising
Regulator ask that you do so within two months of receiving a response from us

complaint and provide you with an outcome. Further information about how we protect and

FUNDRAISING POLICY
As a registered non profit making Charity all funds raised through donations, grants, bequests or any other means are used for the benefit of the animals in our care both in UK & Romania.
We will produce our accounts as legally required and show how all funds are used.
ADOPTION POLICY.
All our adoptions are done on a legally binding contract for the protection of the animals in our care.
The Charity gives full rescue back up (RBU) which includes but not exclusively
* Regular contact with all adopters.
* Support through our Trustees & face book support pages.
* Help with training & behaviour both as advice & contact with our preferred trainer.
* Access to our preferred trainer and written behavioural guides.
* The return of animals to the Charity if the animal cannot continue to be with his/her recorded adopter.
* Registration of all microchips for adopter including joint registration with the Charity.
* 4 weeks free insurance is given with all adoptions subject to T & C
The charity also has full legal support in terms of our solicitor and is fully insured.
